Who operates this site, and who does not?
Bajo Harborline is a neutral departure-hub directory for boats leaving Labuan Bajo, the coastal gateway town on the western edge of Flores, East Nusa Tenggara, that opens onto Komodo National Park. The site is published by Juara Holding Group and operated by Komodo Luxury, a boat and tour operator founded in 2015 in Labuan Bajo. Bookings you make through us are handled directly by the Komodo Luxury reservations team.
We built this directory because there is no single official website that lists, compares, and prices every boat class from the harbor — public local boats, one-day speedboat tours, multi-day liveaboards, phinisi, and private charters. That information stays scattered across dozens of operators and travel guides. Bajo Harborline collects it in one place so you can compare before you commit.
What Bajo Harborline is not, to be completely clear:
- Not a government or port authority. We do not run Komodo Airport (LBJ), the Marina, the ASDP ferry harbor, or the national park. We do not set, collect, or refund official park entrance fees.
- Not the owner of the boats we list. Where a vessel is not owned by Komodo Luxury, any booking is arranged via vetted, licensed partner operators. We act as a directory and concierge layer, not the asset owner.
- Not a licensed financial, legal, tax, or immigration adviser. Nothing here is professional advice.
- Not affiliated with any operator, brand, agency, or authority beyond the relationships we state plainly on the site. We do not claim endorsements, awards, ratings, or partnerships we do not actually hold.
Why are the prices and schedules “indicative”?
Boat travel from Labuan Bajo runs on fuel costs, weather, season, and operator decisions — all of which move. The numbers we publish are reference points collected as of 2026, not quotes or guarantees.

The park entrance fee deserves a special note. Komodo tour prices generally exclude national park entrance fees, and a 2026 guide confirms these must be paid separately, directly to the park authorities. Do not assume a tour price you see here or elsewhere includes them.

Who is responsible if a trip changes or is cancelled?
The Komodo waters do not follow a brochure. During the dry season — roughly April to November or December depending on the guide — seas are usually calm and visibility is excellent. From January to March, wind, heavy rain, and large waves can delay, alter, or cancel speedboat and liveaboard departures and close hiking trails. That is a fact of the region, not a fault of any single operator.
Our responsibility and limits, stated plainly:
- We provide information, not a warranty. We work to keep prices, schedules, and route details accurate, but we cannot guarantee that any figure is current at the moment you read it.
- The operator delivers the trip. Once you book, the boat operator — Komodo Luxury or a vetted licensed partner — is responsible for the vessel, crew, safety briefing, and the sailing itself. Their terms, cancellation policy, and refund rules govern your trip.
- Weather and authority decisions override schedules. If park authorities close a site, or if conditions make a departure unsafe, that decision sits outside our control and the operator’s.
- We make no guaranteed outcomes. We do not promise wildlife sightings, weather, sea conditions, or any specific experience. Manta and diving conditions in particular vary by month.
To the fullest extent permitted by Indonesian law, Bajo Harborline and Juara Holding Group are not liable for losses arising from reliance on indicative information, from third-party operator conduct, or from weather and authority decisions beyond our control.
How do we handle your data?
When you contact us by WhatsApp or email, we receive only the personal information you choose to send — typically your name, contact details, and trip preferences — and we use it to answer your enquiry and arrange your booking. We do not sell your data.
We handle personal data in line with Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (Undang-Undang No. 27 Tahun 2022, “UU PDP”). We are also aware that many of our visitors travel from the EU and UK, so we apply GDPR-style principles as a matter of good practice: we collect only what we need, keep it only as long as necessary to serve you, and act on reasonable requests to access or delete your information. If you would like your enquiry data removed, message us using the channels below and we will action it.
