Terms of Service — Bajo Harborline (labuanbajoboat.com)

Terms of Service

**Bajo Harborline (labuanbajoboat.com) is a boat-directory and departure-logistics website operated by Komodo Luxury, a Labuan Bajo boat operator founded in 2015. Using this site means you accept the terms below. We publish and compare boat classes and harbor information; actual bookings are handled by the Komodo Luxury reservations team or arranged through vetted licensed partners. Prices shown are indicative, date-stamped, and subject to change.**

These terms were last reviewed as of 2026 and are maintained by our on-site editor, Bernadus Tanggu, on behalf of the publisher, Juara Holding Group. If you do not agree with any part of them, please stop using the site.

Who runs this site, and what is it?

Bajo Harborline is a neutral directory. There is no single official authority that lists, compares and prices every boat class leaving the Labuan Bajo harbor — that information stays scattered across individual operators and guides. We built this site to close that gap: open-deck public boats, one-day speedboats, semi-phinisi, liveaboard phinisi and private charters, gathered in one place with capacities, sample prices, and harbor walkthroughs.

The site is operated by Komodo Luxury, a real award-winning operator founded in 2015 in Labuan Bajo, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. The publisher entity is Juara Holding Group. When we present a boat we do not own, we act as a concierge and booking coordinator — arranging your trip via the Komodo Luxury reservations team or vetted licensed third-party operators — not as the owner of that vessel.

We are not a licensed financial, legal, tax, or insurance adviser. Nothing on this site is professional advice of that kind. For park regulations, verify directly with the park authorities managing Komodo National Park under the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry.

How do bookings actually work?

Browsing Bajo Harborline is free and creates no obligation. A booking is only formed once you contact us and receive a written confirmation from the reservations team — typically over WhatsApp at +62 811-3823-875 or by email at sales@komodoluxury.com — and any required deposit is received and acknowledged.

Until that confirmation exists:

  • No seat, cabin, boat, or departure date is reserved or held for you.
  • Availability shown or implied on the site is not a guarantee. Open trips run on fixed departure days; private charters depart on flexible dates, and both fill up.
  • Quoted prices remain indicative until locked in your written confirmation.

Where a boat is operated by a third party, your trip is subject to that operator’s own terms, boarding rules, and safety procedures in addition to these terms. We will tell you when a partner operator is involved.

Are the prices on this site final?

No. Every figure on Bajo Harborline is a date-stamped indicative estimate, valid as of 2026 and subject to change without notice. Fuel costs, exchange rates, season, group size, and operator pricing all move. To show the kind of ranges we mean:

Boat class Indicative price (as of 2026) Basis
Public local boat, LBJ harbor to Komodo Village IDR 50,000 per person Per person, bought at the harbor
One-day shared speedboat tour USD 50–80 per person Per person, shared
Basic shared liveaboard (3-day/2-night) ~IDR 3,334,000 (~USD 205) per person Per person, shared
Luxury phinisi cabin From IDR 8,800,000+ (~USD 545+) per person Per person, shared
Standard private phinisi charter (8–12 guests) IDR 12,000,000–25,000,000 per day (~USD 750–1,550) Per boat, per day

Shared trips are priced per person; private charters are priced per boat. Prices on the site generally exclude Komodo National Park and Padar Island entrance fees. A commercial one-day island-hopping tour lists those fees at about IDR 450,000 (USD 33) per person, and a 2026 operator guide confirms park entrance fees are collected separately, directly by the park authorities. Your final confirmed quote will state exactly what is and is not included.

What are the limits of what we guarantee?

We work to keep the directory accurate, but we make no warranty that every listing, schedule, or price is complete, current, or error-free. Boat operators change routes, times, and rates on their own.

We do not guarantee:

  • Weather or sea conditions. Komodo waters are seasonal. The dry season — roughly April to November or December depending on the guide — brings calm seas and good visibility, while January to March can bring wind, heavy rain, and large waves that cancel or alter speedboat and liveaboard departures and close hiking trails. Weather-driven changes, delays, or cancellations by an operator are outside our control.
  • Any specific outcome or experience, including wildlife sightings, dive visibility, or manta encounters.
  • Any financial return. This is a travel directory; nothing here is an investment offer.

To the fullest extent permitted by Indonesian law, Bajo Harborline, Komodo Luxury, and Juara Holding Group are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the site, from third-party operator conduct, or from events beyond our reasonable control (weather, port closures, force majeure). Where we act as concierge for a boat we do not own, the operating boat owner remains responsible for the safety and delivery of that trip. Your responsibility as a guest includes following each boat’s on-board safety briefing, respecting the protected park — no littering, no feeding wildlife, no touching coral — and travelling with valid documents.

How do you handle my personal data?

When you contact us to enquire or book, we collect only what we need to arrange your trip — typically your name, contact details, passport details for boarding and manifest checks, and trip preferences. We process this consistent with Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (Undang-Undang No. 27 Tahun 2022, “UU PDP”).

For international visitors, we aim to honour equivalent rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): access, correction, deletion, and objection to processing. We do not sell your data. We share it only with the specific operator or licensed partner arranging your trip, and only as needed to deliver it. To exercise any data right, email sales@komodoluxury.com. A fuller explanation lives in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Which law governs these terms, and how do I reach you?

If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. We may update these terms as our services or the law change; the current version always sits on this page with its review date.
